Seeing a 1969 Dodge Daytona in the flesh is right up there with seeing a unicorn for some folks. In total only 504 of these winged-wonders were ever built and of those maybe 30% of them still exist today. If you were smart you would’ve opted for the optional 4-speed transmission and fire-breathing HEMI V8 under the hood. However these bad boys could still be had with the bullet-proof 727 automatic transmission and a 7.2L 440 as an option. The following video captures some very rare footage of a 1969 Dodge Daytona being flogged at Mont Tremblant by test driver Jacques Duval. Even though the video is in black and white that doesn’t change the fact that this is one of the coolest pieces of film we’ve seen in quite awhile.
