Classic cars and summer heat mix like oil and water. The cars overheat, boil fuel and vapor lock which causes most owners to simply keep them in the garage until the outside temperature drops. If however your names are Freiburger & Finnegan and you work for Hot Rod Magazine, well then, you throw caution to the wind and run them anyway. In this episode of Road Kill, the boys decide to turn a 6 hour trip into one that takes 12 hours by taking Freiburger’s HEMI powered 1970 Dodge Super Bee and his 1967 blown Chevy Camaro on a 1,500 mile ride from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City.
